FAQ
1. What is DTF printing? Direct to Film (DTF) printing involves printing a design onto a special film, which is then transferred onto fabric using heat and pressure. This method is known for its versatility and high-quality results.
2. What types of fabrics can I use with DTF transfers? DTF transfers are compatible with a wide range of fabrics, including cotton, polyester, blends, nylon, and more, making them versatile for various apparel and accessory items.
3. Can I return or exchange my DTF transfers if I'm not satisfied? Due to the custom nature of our products, we do not accept returns or exchanges. However, we will replace any items that are damaged upon arrival.
4. How do I apply a DTF transfer to a garment? Prepare the fabric by pre-pressing to remove moisture, place the DTF transfer face down, cover with a Teflon sheet, and press using a heat press at recommended temperatures based on the fabric type. Peel the film off while hot.
5. How durable are DTF prints? DTF prints are extremely durable and can withstand 50-60 washes without significant fading, cracking, or peeling when cared for properly.
6. Are DTF prints eco-friendly? DTF prints are considered more environmentally friendly than some traditional printing methods as they use less water and fewer chemicals.
7. Can I iron directly on a DTF print? It's advised not to iron directly on the DTF print. If ironing is necessary, use a parchment paper or a Teflon sheet as a barrier to protect the design.
8. What file format should I use for my designs? We recommend submitting your designs in PNG format with a transparent background and a resolution of 300 DPI to ensure high-quality prints.
9. How do I care for garments with DTF prints? Wash garments inside out on a gentle cycle with cold water and hang to dry. Avoid bleach and do not tumble dry.
10. What are the benefits of using DTF transfers over other types of printing? DTF transfers offer excellent color quality, durability, and the ability to print intricate designs with ease. They are also cost-effective for small to medium batches and do not require fabric pre-treatment.
11. How long does it take to produce and ship DTF transfers? Production times can vary, but we typically process orders quickly and efficiently. Please contact us for current turnaround times and shipping details.
12. Can DTF transfers be used on dark fabrics? Yes, DTF transfers are highly opaque, making them suitable for both light and dark fabrics without losing the vibrancy of the colors.
